Andre Galvao came to spend 5 days with us at FULL METAL and taught classes and did two fantastic seminars on the weekend teaching more great ATOS style of jiu jitsu. He taught some of his amazing ADCC winning moves and was a pleasure to hang with whilst he was here.

Recently we were both fortunate and blessed to have Sean Frew conduct a striking for MMA seminar at FMJJ. Sean’s unique outlook and concepts for striking in MMA competition was both a breath of fresh air and eye opening to all who attended this wonderful morning of training. Sean has worked with Kazuyuki Miyata, Joachim Hansen, Hayato MACH Sakurai and many more on their striking and is more than eager to pass on his knowledge. We thank him very much.

Congratulations to Matt “SNOWY” Thomson and Akira Takayama who both fought hard for their debuts MMA fights this past weekend. Matt fought 3 hard rounds and won via decision and Akira fought another 3 hard rounds to a draw. We are proud of both of them.
